Kristie's Done it Again!

When I get stuck in a plot hole or frustrated with a character, my first line of defense is to pick up a book and immerse myself in someone else's imagination for a while. It usually works, and within a few hours I'm back to clicking away on the keys.

Such was the case this past week, when I decided to pick up Kristie Cook's New Adult book The Space Between. I'd picked it up during a .99 cent promotion, and I'm so glad I did.

My thoughts: 
Let me just say this is on my top reads of 2013. Cook's extraordinary mind has created a unique story that is well executed and seen from four different perspectives. Ordinarily that type of writing drives me nuts, but Kristie Cook does an excellent job of creating a cohesive structure  that seamlessly allows the story to unfold. The New Adult genre is perfect because it has a bit of a YA feel, yet tackles some adult content. Cook does not disappoint on either. If you are a paranormal romance fan you HAVE to pick this one up!

It's about time we offered our readers another chance at winning something awesome. One of our favorite adult authors around here is Janet Evanovich. And there's a great reason she's a NYT bestseller! She knows how to write some seriously kick-butt characters.
